Several months ago we were offered a LARGE headboard. It had great detail and design, but as soon as we saw it we had immediate visions in our head of using this piece in some way other than it's intended use as a headboard. It appeared to be at least King size, if not larger so we knew that whatever we did had to be BIG.
Here is the transformed piece, ready and waiting for it's new function!
We decided to literally flip the headboard on it's side and start from there. We chose a great color combo of cream, brown, and this great shade of bright green for a fun punch of color.
We've added fabric covered corkboard, knobs/hooks to hang items, and a great growth chart to keep track of all the kiddos as they have so many memories and milestones along the way!
Great statement piece that can involve the entire family!!
