Custom Order Nightstand

One of our fabulous clients brought us this old sewing machine table and wanted it refinished to function as a nightstand.

Here is what it looked like BEFORE

A solid, sturdy piece with great lines and tons of personality...just in need of a little re-do!

And here is the reveal of this fantastic piece AFTER

So how dang cute is this little sewing table/nightstand now???

We started with a fresh new coat of Colonial Red paint and then finished it off with a gorgeous Ebony stain.  The hardware was given a new coat of black to put a finishing touch on the piece!

We absolutely ADORE this piece as well as the wonderful client who brought it to us for its "new do!"

Thanks for giving us such a fun project to work on!!

All Lined Up

We have a couple new pieces that we will be posting VERY soon....

But in the meantime we thought have another fun walk down memory lane and recap a few more of our favorites from past projects.

Stripes add such a fun element to a piece!  It can give some much needed "umph" or provide additional color and dimension.  And sometimes we will add a couple of stripes just cuz it's downright fun!!

So here is a "Line Up" of some of our favs......

Aqua & Tan Dresser, perfect for beach themed room

Pretty pink vanity with pink fun stripes on the drawers

Darling cream end table with stripes from head to toe

Great turquoise end table with black & white striped accent top

Darling aqua & white distressed dresser

And we even managed to add some stripes to some fun wall art made from reclaimed wood!

That's just a small sample of some of our favorite stripes....
Stay tuned for more!

Tomorrow we will be posting a refinished sewing table turned nightstand in a beautiful Colonial Red with Ebony stained finish.
And hopefully we will have pics from a fun update to one of our previously refinished patio sets that's gone from pretty but plain to popping with personality!!

Shades that Make You Smile....

There is a quote that reads:

"Life is About Using the Whole Box of Crayons"

What better way to bring some new life to an old piece of furniture than by adding some vibrant fun color that is sure to bring a smile to your face!

It is no secret that here at Ary Ann's Place we absolutely LOVE to play with colors, patterns and textures to come up with some unique pieces.  We have many pieces in the works now, some with more traditional finishes and some that are popping with color, so we thought while we are finsihing those up, we would share a small sample of some of the more colorful items we've created over the years.

Enjoy the recap!

Despite the not so pretty background and our poor picture taking skills, this gem provided a gorgeous pop of color with a beautiful turquoise finish and brown accents.

This fabulous chair was such a fun project, with an unexpected finish that was perfect for taking pretty pictures!

This cedar chest looks absolutely gorgeous with a new coat of custom mixed chalk paint, distressing and dark walnut stained finish.

A simple coat of strawflower yellow and some cute damask stenciling was all this stool needed for a fresh new start!

This colorful patio dining set brought smiles to the everyone with it's fabulous colors of white, warm yello and key lime green!  What a great combo of color!

A coat of green apple was just the trick for this vintage end table.  So quaint & charming!

And who doesn't love the bright and beautiful stars and stripes of Red, White and Blue?!?!  This darling dining set was a huge patriotic hit!

The key lime green gives these chairs a look that nearly glows in the dark!

Pink is always a very popular color of choice!

This nightstand is the perfect combo of classic black with a pop of pastel green!

And you can never go wrong with ravishing reds!

This is just a small sampling of some of the fabulously refinished colorful pieces we have created in the past.  If you're interest in adding a little color to your decor, whether it's just a hint or full on colorblast, let us know.  We'd be happy to work together to create something wonderful for YOU!  Just email us (see sidebar for contact information) to get started today!
